Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” – James 1:17
As we celebrate Christmas, we are reminded of the incredible gift of God who sent his son, Jesus, to rescue us from our sins. This gift transformed my heart giving me amazing peace and a hope of heaven for which I am eternally grateful.
As the verse above points out, God gives us good and perfect gifts. What gifts would you say God has blessed you with?
One gift, I’m thankful for is the life of my son, Samuel. As each year passes, I’m continued to be awed by this miracle.
Gifts And Miracles
He was not expected to live past birth….but God had other plans.
He was not expected to wean off the oscillator…but God showed off.
He struggled to wean off the hospital vent…but God intervened.
His airway (tracheostomy) plugged…but God sent an angel (Respiratory Therapist) to help.
He was not expected to come off the ventilator…but God created a miracle.
These are a few of the highlights of my little man’s miraculous life. What miracles have you experienced?
Celebrating the miraculous birth of Jesus and seeing His work in Samuel’s life reminds me that God is still at work. He still intervenes. He still creates miracles.
